AboutThe emphasis of our instruction is on functional communication-speaking, listening, and understanding. Teachers are not asked to stop teaching grammar, but they are asked not to use grammar as the focus of their instruction.For example, the focus of a lesson would not be on teaching the past tense, but rather on describing a past event, such as recounting what you did last weekend. In this way, past tense skills are gradually introduced and customized to each student's learning style. Moreover, emphasis on dialogue and role-play makes classes more active, motivates students to participate, and helps them to focus on practical foreign language skills that they can use outside the classroom.
