About Us

Since its founding in 1988, All About Languages! has been focused on expanding student horizons through language and culture.  We've worked with a wide variety of private and public schools in the Washington DC area.  We offer both in-school instructional services, as well as, enrichment classes (before and after school) for foreign languages.

Adriana M. Amaro

President and CEO

Owner of All About Languages! since 2003.  Adriana brings a wealth of experience and passion for teaching foreign languages to children.  With over 12 years of direct classroom experience.  Adriana has taught Spanish to all ages and at all levels.  Complimenting her experience is a strong sense of integrity and personal commitment to her clients.  As the owner and manager, Adriana oversees each engagement ensuring complete customer satisfaction.  Adriana earned her undergraduate degree from George Washington University and her Masters in Education from Loyola College in Baltimore.  She also received her A.M.I. Diploma from the Washington Montessori Institute.

All About Languages! mission is to provide the highest quality foreign language instruction in a dynamic and exciting way that opens the world to students of all ages.

Learning Objectives

• Progress toward acquiring functional verbal and auditory skills (speaking and listening comprehension);
• Receive an introduction to the basics of reading and writing in a foreign language (appropriate to their grade level);
• Understand and appreciate different cultures and differences among people; and
• Increase their personal, social, and occupational opportunities through a knowledge of different languages and cultures.
